Fleece Performance Breeches: When regular breeches are too cold—and Teddy is too warm
There is a period every spring and autumn when it is especially difficult to choose the right riding clothes. The thin breeches and leggings that were perfect on warmer days start to feel too cold, while truly warm winter breeches are still far too warm.
That is exactly what we created Fleece Performance Breeches for.
Just warm enough for autumn and spring
Fleece Performance are designed as a middle ground between our regular breeches and our warm Teddy Leggings. Inside, a thin and lightweight fleece lining provides that little bit of extra warmth needed on chilly spring and autumn days, without making the trousers feel bulky or too warm during your riding session.
They are perfect for the period when temperatures begin to drop in autumn or when the spring sunshine has returned but the air is still cold.
The trousers are designed to be worn in temperatures down to around 0 °C, making them an obvious choice for large parts of the spring and autumn seasons.

This makes Fleece Performance particularly useful during the changeable months, when temperatures can be mild in the middle of the day but considerably cooler during morning or evening riding sessions.
Functional details for your riding sessions
Despite the extra warmth, we wanted to retain a sporty and flexible feel. The mid-rise waist provides a comfortable fit in the saddle, while the trousers feature a classic zip-and-button fastening and belt loops.
Both thighs feature deep phone pockets, designed to keep your phone lying flat against your leg even when you are sitting in the saddle.
The result is a pair of breeches that provides just the right amount of extra warmth when the seasons change and can quickly become the pair you reach for every time the weather app shows single-digit temperatures.
